Solemn Finale of 18th Decennial Exposition of sacred relics of St. Francis Xavier. An estimated 8-10 millions devotees and faithful visited Old Goa to pay homage to "Goencho Saib", the public vernation had begun 45 days ago, in the evening of 21st November 2024. His Sacred relics, enclosed in a silver casket was again transported back to Basilica via e-mobile carriage in a procession of clergy attended flanked by rows of volunteers and devotees, with resounding and familiar hymns dedicated to St. Francis Xavier from the choir in attendance. It was placed in the adjacent mausoleum inside the Basilica followed By Mass service presided by Cardinal Filip Neri Ferrao in a pandal outside the Basilica. St Francis Xavier bless us all.
